Arabia Dunes (Digital Composite) Seen by Mars Odyssey
Sand dunes shaped like blue-black flames lie next to a central hill within an unnamed crater in the eastern Arabia region of Mars. This mosaic was made from images taken at visible and infrared wavelengths by the Thermal Emission Imaging System (THEMIS).
